Why are you doing this?

After living in Little Rock for 13 years, I thought I wanted a break. I moved away for two long years. Silly me. Moving back to Little Rock has inspired me to start this online letter to the city I love.

What did you miss most about LR?

My friends, hands down. My favorite foods (the Rustico Panini from Boulevard Bread Co., the corn and crab bisque from Cheers in the Heights and the Huevos a la Mexicana from Casa Mexicana, to name a few), going to see my favorite local and touring bands at the White Water Tavern and Sticky Fingerz, picnics at Knoop Park, shopping at great local boutiques like Ember and Box Turtle ... I could go on and on.

Why interview locals?

Little Rock is a beautiful city with too many great things to list--and, really, who wants to hear me rattle on about it? I thought I'd let the people who live here help me narrow it down.

Do the numbers mean anything?

Not at all. As the website gained popularity, it became obvious I needed to organize the interviewees a bit. I try to space people out so that it's not all White Guys In Bands one week and Girls Who Make Pretty Things the next (two things LR seems to have an abundance of), but there is no real formula for who is posted on which day.

So, this is it?

Hey, I had to start somewhere. As much as I'd like to think I'm an expert on all things fun/cool/yummy, this story is better told by all of you. I'm chewing on some other content ideas, but this is keeping me pretty busy as it is. Also, I need to give a shout out to the ilovememphisblog.com for the city love inspiration.

Where are you getting all these fun photos?

Instagram users are tagging their photos with #ilovelittlerock and you should, too! Follow us @iheartLRar.

Why haven't you interviewed me?

Maybe I don't know you. Maybe I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I don't like you (muahahaha). Either way, feel free to submit yourself or others here.

Who the heck are you??

My name is Jennifer and I love Little Rock.

Can I advertise on your website?
